We're using the AD&D 2nd Edition rules set, with some modifications. I never see anyone running 2e in any games. More often than not I see people complaining about 2e, rather than going on about its virtues.
The trick is ... I kind of want to have a theme of running games in clunky or unpopular rules systems. I even want to go as far as running games with the "wrong" rules system.
This is all meant to be fun. Otherwise neither of us should be doing this.
